How it works
Trust begins before the plant is ever grown.
Verified Strains is being built as a sourcing and verification network, not a seed warehouse. Producers keep their inventory. We verify the parties and the evidence, and the provenance record follows the order.
02 / LOT
Register the seed lot.
Each production lot gets a unique identity. Lineage statements, lab reports, and documents are fingerprinted and timestamped.
03 / ORDER
Order from the source.
Buyers inspect the evidence behind a listing, then order. The order routes to the producer, who ships the registered lot.
04 / TRACK
Follow what it becomes.
When the seeds are grown, the lot record can connect into CannaTrack cultivation, laboratory, COA, and product records.
What we verify
"Verified" is not one claim. It is six.
Every listing will show exactly which claims have been checked, and how. Nothing gets stamped verified without saying what that means.
Identity Verified
Verified Strains has confirmed who the producer is.
License Verified
Where a license applies, it has been checked against the government record.
Lab Verified
The laboratory has been authenticated, and so has the report as coming from it.
Document Integrity Verified
The record you are viewing matches the fingerprint registered when it was submitted.
Producer Attested
The breeder has legally attested that lineage and parentage information is accurate.
Genetically Confirmed
Genetic testing supports the stated identity or lineage.
A blockchain record shows that the document in front of you matches the one fingerprinted at registration, and when that happened. It cannot show that the statement in the document was true. That is why we combine identity checks, legal attestation, and laboratory evidence with immutable records, and label each one for what it is.

A strain name should mean more than a label. The registry ties genetics to breeders, generations, seed lots, documentation, and downstream cultivation data. Breeders can register genetics whether or not they sell through the marketplace.
